My name is Kirk Wheeler. That’s me up there.
I am a husband and a father. I am the author of All That Keeps Us and host of Discover The Road.
I can juggle. But not very well. You can learn more about me personally at kirkwheeler.net.
For the purpose of this journey, maybe think of me as a cicerone or one who guides sightseers. Or just consider me someone who would like to help you out.
Seriously. It is my great hope that somewhere in the content here is something that will inspire you to take action and become the person that you want to be. You can learn more about my reasons for starting this journey here: The First Step
But I think the journey really began a few years ago. It started with a simple phrase that saved my life and has become a part of the fabric of who I am. I was reaching out for help to explain the loss of our second son to our firstborn son. I wanted to give him answers to the hard questions he was asking at the age of 4. And then, on a late night phone call with a friend, I received the best advice I have ever been given. She told me that I did not have to have all of the answers. She told me to tell him the truth. Tell him that he is now a member of a community of people who wonder. So I did. And he is. The same as we all are. And that is what I hope this will become. If you want to join me on the adventure then enter your email below.
This is a picture of some notes from a test that I took when I was twelve. Even then I was “fascinated with how people learn and why”. So let’s learn together. And have some fun doing it!
I really connect with the book Illusions and the idea that we are here for two reasons and two reasons alone. To learn. And to have fun. You can put any experience you have in those two columns. One or the other. Or both. And I still think that idea holds up.
So here is my promise to you. I will bring the best of myself to the table and do everything I can to help you in any way possible.
Email, call, or text.
I am glad you are here.
